It's been a while! Things have been weird. Let me update you:
- The bathroom door remained closed overnight
- The Assholes are usually in their rooms all day, giving me the chance to enjoy the rest of the house. But these days they're everywhere! I go to scream in the bathroom and there's an asshole. I go to jump on the counter and there's an asshole telling me no. I wake up from my nap and there's an asshole sitting next to me. Dunno what changed but it sucks! I want my house back
- All of this stressed me out, so I haven't been moving toys. Honestly not sure I can anymore, it is a lot of work that goes unrewarded. The door always remains closed, what's the point?
I guess I'm striking. It's been 9 days without a toy by the door. Bet they'll keep it open for my screaming needs in no time!
OK, fine, I couldn't do it. By day 9, today, I broke. I had an internal fight between wanting to strike and wanting to place a protest toy. This is the result.
I have no idea what I'll do tomorrow. I guess you'll have to stay tuned.
Story time. We have magic feeders for breakfast and lunch/tea time. They're pretty predictable, we know that they'll give us food, we love them. One for each cat.
Then at night The Assholes give us wet food. It's our right. Dinner is a very important meal. That's our routine.
Remember I told you something changed?. Well, the other day The Assholes left the house. They do that once in a while, then come back with interesting smells in their shoes, maybe some bags for us to explore. But this time they didn't come back. As the sky got darker, we were getting more worried. They would not forget about our dinner, would they?
We managed to stay busy during the day, just enjoying the silence. We were not worried yet. Perfect time to chew on the tree, jump on the counters and nap by the fire.
The clock continued ticking and they didn't come back! Oswin, Ash and I had to have an emergency meeting. How are we going to survive until breakfast? How can they be so careless?!? Is there someone we can call? Maybe 911?
We had a lot to talk about, like who were we going to eat first? I voted Oswin, but she hated it. Let's face it, she's a chunk, it can easily feed both Ash and I for days.
Right when we were about to discuss the terms for a fight to death, winner eats the loser... the feeders went off! It's like they knew we were in need! They can read minds! <3.
Nobody got eaten that night and we never talked about it again. The Assholes were home to feed us dinner the next day anyway.
Here's a pic of all 3 of us super excited about their return:
So that sums up the past days. It's always something new with these assholes...
