Hi all, this is Oswin. Cali has a vet appointment today and she already took her happy pills, so she asked me to cover for her.
This is the time she's the nicest. She said to write something about our day but do not read the other posts. So of course I went and read all the posts. I have so much to say!
First of all, I didn't just one day get in, Mom and Dad brought me in a box. Dunno why, it was pretty confusing, one moment I was in a cage with tons of other cats, next I know there's a calico asshole telling me the rules of her house, eyeroll. A couple of days into my new living situation I walked into the bathroom and she was completely soaked, shaking on me. I thought I had ended up in the little house of horrors or something. It didn't help that she called Mom and Dad The Assholes. Luckily everyone is relatively normal. Here is my shelter pic:
Formal intro: I'm Oswin, I'm the middle child. I do not smoke, my voice just sounds like that! I love food, the fireplace, soft blankets and boops. I hate not eating, people touching me from my neck down, Cali when she's in a bad mood and Ash.
I am super zen, I like to do my own thing, enjoy my day in a little ball in front of the fireplace, away from Ash and Cali. I don't like being picked up, unlike gray whiney Ash. Mom and Dad mostly leave me alone, except when I jump on the counters. I should be allowed on the counters tho, I don't see the big deal. But cats on the counter get picked up and kissed. Cali and I hate that rule, Ash exploits it all the time.
We have a lot of toys, nice blankets (I'm a snob, only the softest for me) and once in a while we get a Churu. I love those days! Treats make my day so much better! That's one of the only times you'll hear me screaming.
Anyway, that's a little sliver of a normal day. Today it is super calm because Cali is half asleep and Ash is bothering her. Some peace for me! Will sneak another post if Cali embellishes the truth too much again.
Oh, and she seems oddly obsessed with the bathroom door. It's closed to avoid you screaming all night, Cali! Learn to live with it!
